Dalgona Milk Tea
A low-caffeine alternative to the popular dalgona coffee, using milk tea instead of instant coffee.
Servings: 2
- 1 egg white
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tsp milk tea powder
- ice
- milk
Place 1/4 cup white sugar and 1/4 cup water into a pot and bring to a rolling boil
In a stand mixer with the whisk attachment (or using a hand mixer/by hand with a whisk), whip the egg white on medium speed until soft peaks form
Slowly drizzle the boiling water mixture into the egg white as it continues to whip. Continue to whip the egg whites until glossy and stiff peaks form
Add 2 tsp milk tea powder and mix until just combined
Fill a glass with milk and ice cubes until 3/4 full
Top with whipped milk tea, stir and enjoy!
